Law office
Stichting PILP (“PILP“) is a foundation established under Dutch law whose objectives include conducting strategic litigation and legal proceedings with a public interest, such as human rights in the Netherlands, through the practice of law and which meets the requirements set by the Dutch Bar Association.
PILP has its registered office in Amsterdam and is registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 88508536. PILP’s RSIN number is 864659246.
PILP does not receive third-party funds within the meaning of the Regulation on the Legal Profession (Voda). We are therefore exempt from the obligation to have a third-party funds foundation available. If we are nevertheless confronted with third-party funds, we ensure that the funds are either transferred directly to the entitled party in accordance with article 6.19, first paragraph of the Voda, or that we still join a third-party funds foundation (and have the funds flow through this foundation). All rules regarding third-party funds will then apply. Under no circumstances do we receive third-party funds on the office account.
PILP has no foundation for third-party funds at its disposal and cannot receive third-party funds on the basis of article 7.4 Voda.
