She also discussed the their culture . She described the intense impact of the Hague municipality&#8217;s eviction policy on her family and the entire community.<br \/>\nPILP believes it is important to put the community and their message at the center of any proceeding. It is their fight for change and they have a leading and central role.<\/p>\n<p>There were also Sinti, Roma and travelers present at the hearing and they expressed their satisfaction with the process, the lawyers&#8217; pleading and the judge&#8217;s critical questions. Especially when no concrete action has yet been taken from the municipality to provide more places to live.<\/p>\n<p>Lawyers from PILP and Houthoff argued on behalf of the Foundation that Sinti, Roma and travelers in The Hague are discriminated against and that the municipality must take steps for these people to realise a realistic prospect to reside in The Hague with their community.<\/p>\n<p>The verdict in this case will follow on Wednesday, May 29 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, on April 3, 2024, a hearing took place at the District Court of The Hague in the case of Sinti, Roma and Travelers against the municipality of The Hague.
